The Astaxanthin extraction process carried out by MARNYS® is the supercritical fluid carbon dioxide (SFE-CO2) method, which guarantees the mechanical process of rupture of the algal cell wall. Extraction using SFE-CO2 has approximately 3.8 times more free Astaxanthin than other extraction methods.
